  • Attention

Sixth-grade students may now participate in all sports at Talent Middle School. That means in the fall, football, cross country and volleyball are available for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students.

In the winter, we offer girls basketball, boys basketball and co-ed wrestling for all grades. In the spring, we offer track and field for all grades.

    Requirements

All students participating in athletics must have a current physical on file. Those are good for two years.

Physicals may be obtained from your family physician or at one of the following locations: La Clinica del Valle (541-535-6239); Family Urgent Care (541-488-8400); and Valley Immediate Care (541-858-2515). Additionally, La Clinica School-Based Health Centers will be holding sports physical clinics during the month of August.

Families also need to sign up on Family ID. This is how we gather each student's medical emergency contact information for the safety of your child.

    Insurance

Insurance is required but not provided by the district. Student accident insurance is available to purchase if you are not already insured or want additional insurance coverage. An enrollment form for insurance is available in the school office.
