At Phoenix-Talent School District, student safety is our highest priority. We are deeply committed to creating and maintaining secure learning environments where students can focus on education, personal growth, and academic achievement.

Our comprehensive safety approach includes strategic partnerships and significant infrastructure investments designed to protect our students and staff. Through a collaborative program with the Phoenix and Talent Police Departments, we have established a dedicated School Resource Officer (SRO) program that ensures professional, trained law enforcement personnel are present and engaged in our school communities.

In 2017, our community demonstrated its commitment to student safety by passing a bond measure that enabled us to systematically upgrade campus security features across all district school buildings. These investments have enhanced our ability to monitor and control access, implement modern safety technologies, and create more secure educational spaces.
