Good health, good fun

Phoenix-Talent families will have an opportunity to kick off the new school year with energy, fun, and essential resources at the Healthy Start Block Party. Open to all local families (not just PTS), our hope for this community event is that it brings together students, families, and local organizations to help ensure every child is prepared for a successful start to school.

What to Expect

This is more than just a block party — it's a back-to-school boost! Families can access a range of free services and enjoy fun activities in one welcoming event:

• Health & Wellness:

  • Well-child checks

  • Sports physicals

  • Dental screenings

• Personal Care & School Readiness:

  • Free kids’ haircuts

  • School supplies (first come, first served)

• Fun & Family Activities:

  • Games and giveaways

  • Face painting

  • Free food for all attendees
