School days added in May, June to make up for snow closures
The Phoenix-Talent School District has made adjustments to this year’s academic calendar to account for instructional time lost due to snow days on February 4, 5, and 6.
To ensure we meet the required instructional hours, the Phoenix-Talent School Board has approved the following changes:
- Friday, May 23 (the Friday before Memorial Day) will now be a regular full school day for both students and staff.
- Friday, June 6 will also be a regular full school day for students and staff.
These adjustments allow us to remain in compliance with instructional hour requirements while maintaining our commitment to student learning.
