Summer food program returns

We are pleased to share that our food service partner, Sodexo, will once again offer the Phoenix-Talent Summer Meals Program to help ensure that children in our community have access to healthy, nutritious meals throughout the summer.

All children ages 18 and under are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge. Meals must be eaten on site; however, children may take one nonperishable item, such as a piece of fruit, for a snack later.

Summer meal service will be available at the following locations and times:

Site Dates

• Phoenix Elementary School: June 15–July 31 (closed June 19 and June 29–July 3)
• Talent Elementary School: June 22–August 21 (closed July 3)
• Phoenix High School: July 6–July 30 (closed Fridays)

Breakfast

• Phoenix Elementary School: Monday–Friday, 8-9 a.m.
• Talent Elementary School: Monday–Friday, 8-9 a.m.
• Phoenix High School: Monday–Friday, 8–8:30 a.m.

Lunch

• Phoenix Elementary School: Monday–Friday, 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
• Talent Elementary School: Monday–Friday, 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.
• Phoenix High School: Monday–Friday, 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m.

We encourage families to take advantage of this valuable resource. Access to nutritious meals helps children stay healthy, active, and ready to learn throughout the summer months.
