TMS yearbook crew earns gold

The Talent Middle School yearbook team earned high praise recently as its 2022 publication became one of only five statewide 2022 “Gold level” recipients of the Jostens National Yearbook Program of Excellence award.

The Bulldogs yearbook crew learned of the high honor earlier this week when the plaque arrived at the school by mail.

TMS was one of 72 schools in the state to receive recognition from Jostens, but was the only school in the Rogue Valley to pick up the coveted Gold level award. The team is made up of about 20 students each year and is guided by advisor Sandra Tringolo.

The 2022 yearbook was 68 pages long and included cover concept art by current Phoenix High School freshman Zoey Padgett. The yearbook staff collaborates on the publication’s theme and design each year, and uses the publishing platform Jostens Yearbook Avenue to create it.

Also earning recognition from Jostens this year were Phoenix High School (bronze) and Orchard Hill Elementary (bronze).
