Rebecca Weathers was elected to the Phoenix-Talent School Board in May 2021 for a two-year term.

Rebecca attended Phoenix-Talent Schools, playing trombone and clarinet in the Talent Middle School band, and also cheerleading her freshman through junior year at Phoenix High School.

Her three girls are also PTS students: her eldest is an Armadillo Technical Institute graduate, and her two youngest are Talent Elementary School Mustangs.

Rebecca has always enjoyed being a parent involved in student activities, from tree plantings to chaperoning field trips. After the 2020 Almeda Fire, she saw firsthand how critical the PTS staff is in our community. Hoping to provide extra support for students in the district, she decided to run for the school board.

Rebecca is the manager at Sweet Beet Station in Talent, and is an experienced hospitality professional.

Rebecca holds position 5 in zone 1. Her current term expires in 2025.
